Your math is ok but your logic is flawed. Probably you could get comparable chicas for
TLN for 1500 to 1750 pesos in 2007, whereas the sort of chicas who were asking 2000 pesos then might be asking 2500 now. I know I never paid more than 1500
TLN back then but I would find it hard work finding the same standard of chica for that price now if I didn't have a phone full of numbers gathered over four years. So again prices have gone up by around 20%.
Hard to research and compare free-lancers because they don't have fixed "menus" but if you look at Passions or Blackbeards prices you will see they have gone up by around 20% in the last four years. Blackbeards used to be 2500
TLN, now it's 3000. Don't have the Passions prices to hand but I know they have increased similarly. So have most hotel, restaurant or taxi prices.
Nothing to do with the difference between ex-pats and tourists. Only place there are significant savings are in the deals now offered by AI hotels but the rise in airfares more than cancels that out.
No doubt you can come up with a long list of exceptions. I am talking about average prices across the board.
